AGREEMENT WITH ANCI
In order to support the development of Local Tourist Systems, according to the Framework Law on Italian Tourism, the Associazione Produttori Camper - ANFIA has signed an agreement with ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities), supported also by Confcommercio, Confesercenti and Coldiretti (the italian retailers and farmers associations). Such protocols contemplates a plurality of actions and initiatives designed to encourage the regional administrations to fund the creation of motorcaravan parking and stopping areas, as well as tourist network information and promotion activities. The participation of economic operators is enhanced in the creation of a network of services and opportunities for people travelling by motorhome, such as, for instance, the "Res Tipica" project for the promotion of local and typical products.

The Associazione Produttori Camper-ANFIA is a member of the European Caravan Federation (ECF), the international organisation which brings together and represents the European caravanning industry. Among the prior goals of the ECF we should mention:
- representing the interests of all sector industry organisations dealings with European institutions;
- promoting and disseminate the culture of open-air tourism.
