SALONE DEL CAMPER 2017, ANOTHER RECORD-BREAKING EDITION
Another unprecedented edition at the Salone del Camper 2017, held at Fiere di Parma exhibition grounds last September 9th – 17th, with approximately 132,000 visitors attending. This shows a +4.3% compared to 2016, confirming and further strengthening the appointment of Fiere di Parma and APC, which as of now is ranked second in the world. Such a development in the offer can be easily seen in the number of exhibiting companies: 277 in 2015, 285 in 2016, over 300 in 2017.
“The interest in our sector – the President of APC Simone Niccolai argued – has been widely proved at this very last edition of the Salone del Camper: great turnout, even higher than last year’s – that had already been remarkable, many new vehicles exhibited, and especially so much long-awaited enthusiasm shown by producers, dealers and visitors, to be interpreted as a first sign of clear market recovery and of a type of tourism become well-known.”
Figures from APC speak for themselves: in the last semester, Italy (+14,5%) proved to be the Country with the highest per cent growth in new vehicles registered in Europe, if compared to the main European Countries such as Germany (+13,6%) France (+3,8%) and Great Britain (+11%). With over 5,500 employees in the field and a yearly turnover of 750 Million Euro, Italy confirms to be one of the leading European producers in 2016.
