THE USE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN TOURISM IN FREEDOM
The conference “Turismo in Libertà: l’area di sosta integrata. Il BIM applicato alla realizzazione degli spazi di accoglienza” was held last Sunday, September 10th at Spazio Agorà of the Salone del Camper. The event was promoted by APC and starred as rapporteurs Professor Paolo Fiamma (Scientific Director of the University of Pisa DESTeC Department), Francesca Tonini (APC General Secretary) and Gianni Brogini (APC Marketing Director). As already anticipated in the “Rapporto Nazionale 2017 sul Turismo in Libertà in Camper e in Caravan”, this meeting aimed at discussing more in detail how new digital technologies, namely interdisciplinary technologies typical of Building Information Modeling (BIM), can offer an innovative chance to all those companies willing to take the opportunities linked to the fourth industrial revolution, as in the Piano Nazionale Industria 4.0 by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.
